Agni Yoga Seed Thought for March 15

The essence of striving to the distant worlds lies in assimilating awareness of our life on them. The idea that there may possibly be life on them is, as it were, a canal for our consciousness to approach them. Indeed, one has to break open the current of this consciousness as if one were digging a canal. People are able to swim, but a significant number of them do not do so. The evidence that exists concerning the distant worlds does not attract humanity at all. It is time to sow the seed of this idea in the human brain.

Those without family or fortune can most easily accept this thought. Earthly ties are not as lasting for them. The well-off have the most trouble accepting. (NEC (opens in new tab), 44)
